Setting up your email on your iPhone
For all settings, example.com should be replaced with your domain name. For best and fast results, follow these steps while connected to a WiFi connection.
  1. Go to your "Settings"
  2. Click on "Mail, Contacts, Calendar"
  3. Select "Add Account" under "Accounts"
  4. Select "Other" as the mail type
  5. Enter your name
  6. Enter your email address
  7. Enter your password
  8. Hit "Save"
  9. Make sure that the "IMAP" tab is selected and continue to the steps below.
  10. Under Incoming Mail Server
    1. The "Host Name" is : mail.example.com
    2. The "User Name" is your full email address
    3. The "Password" is your mail password
  11. Under "Outgoing Mail Server"
    1. The "Host Name" is : mail.example.com
    2. Do not enter anything under username and password
  12. Hit "Save"
  13. NOTE : Your iPhone will attempt to Verify your IMAP account information. You will see a message that says "Cannot Connect Using SSL. Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?" When you see this, select "Yes"
  14. Your iPhone will once again attempt to verify IMAP account information. This may take a moment, but be patient. Once complete, you will return to the accounts list.
  15. You can now go into your account and adjust what folder different messages are saved in.
  16. You're all done. You account should now be setup. You can navigate to your email account by going to your home screen and selecting the "Mail" application
Note, if you are having issues sending or receiving email, and you are within service range, go to your account and select the "Advance Settings." The most common reason that sending and/or receiving is not working is due to "Use SSL" being enabled. Make sure that this is turned off.
